Introduced in 1930, the Angulon is the original Schneider wide-angle lens.
It is a 6-element, 2-group, symmetric design. Compared to many modern wide
angles, these lenses are quite compact, although the angle of coverage is only
80°. They are well color-corrected and the symmetrical design results in
excellent close up performance.
